Desk notes

How a Sharm week actually reads

Bay

Naama is a walk. The south is a transfer.

If the week is dinner and a second tank without a taxi, the desk has to sit on the bay you sleep on.

First tank

Sand is a gift. A park ticket is not.

A house reef is for buoyancy and night dives. Tiran and Ras Mohammed are the days people fly for.

Jetty

A walkable pier buys back an hour.

The main port transfer is in the small print. It costs the hour you thought you had after the second dive.

Liveaboard

Nights at sea are a different product.

We do not score a cabin as a failed hotel. If the week is offshore, the boat is the house.

Ticket

A CDC desk does not owe you a roof.

Career weeks book sleep elsewhere. That is not a worse holiday — it is not a holiday campus.

Park day

Two parks sit on the same day-boat map.

Most Sharm desks sell Ras Mohammed and the Straits of Tiran. The wreck is a longer boat, not a house-reef morning.

How we score

Five things a house must answer

Campus

Is the bed, the kit, and the breakfast on the same plot, or do you taxi to a hotel desk?

Jetty

Do boats leave from a walkable pier, or from the main Sharm port with a transfer?

Ratio

What is the published cap of guests per guide — and is it a hard number?

Standard

Green Fins, SSI Diamond, PADI CDC / IDC — public ranks, not slogans.

Fit

Holiday campus, house-reef school, or liveaboard. We do not force one shape on every row.

Questions

Questions we get

No. Diving Tours is an editorial desk in Malta. Each Visit button opens that house’s own page. Contracts, cards, and boat places stay with them.
A house reef is a walk-in morning. A day-boat week is Tiran, Ras Mohammed, and the wrecks. Some houses do both. The scorecard filters for the shape you actually want.
No. These are ten houses with a public site and a clear product. Hotel-desk brands that only exist as a counter inside an all-inclusive are outside this issue.
Sinai Divers is a Red Sea name, but the live desks we can point to are not a Sharm campus. This issue stays in Sharm El Sheikh.
Year-round, with the cleanest vis and the least wind in spring and autumn. August is hottest on the boat; January is the 5 mm month. The parks stay open. We do not sell a season package.
Most hotel-desk brands and some training houses. Camel, Emperor, and Umbi publish a walkable jetty or private pier. If a transfer to the marina is in the small print, it costs an hour you thought you had for a second dive.

Desk

Write if a row is wrong

If a house has moved, closed a jetty, or changed a published ratio, tell the desk. We correct the card. We still do not sell a dive.
